GHOST IN THE SHELL : STAND ALONE COMPLEX
Art District SG is pleased to announce Tokyo-based art technology brand GAAAT will be exhibiting GHOST IN THE SHELL: STAND ALONE COMPLEX art sales event at Art District SG from 18-21 September 2025.
On 13 August 2025 — Tokyo-based art technology brand GAAAT has announced the world's first official GHOST IN THE SHELL: STAND ALONE COMPLEX art sales event in Singapore, bringing Metal Canvas Art (MCA) technology to Southeast Asia. Running from September 18-21, 2025, at Art District SG, the exhibition transforms iconic anime scenes into three-dimensional artworks using proprietary 32-layer design and specialized UV coating technology.
The Singapore showcase represents the inaugural international stop for GAAAT's officially licensed Ghost in the Shell art collection, reconstructing the beloved cyberpunk series' distinctive visual world as contemporary fine art. Each piece features GAAAT's innovative Metal Canvas technology, which creates up to 1mm relief textures that shift appearance based on lighting angles, transforming flat digital artwork into tactile, dimensional experiences.
